"Christmas in July" press release
When the word Christmas comes to mind most people have thoughts of winter, family and the gift of giving. During those months leading up to and through December donations are very much needed and this is usually the time when the most is given.
July is warm and we forget that it is during the middle of the year when our local food banks and charities are the most in need. With this understanding The Lifehouse Chiropractic Studio has set Wednesday, July 25th, 2012 as "Christmas in July"!
On this day at the chiropractic studio they will be adjusting their existing clients by donation of food items. For those people who are not under chiropractic care and would like opportunity to come in and explore what chiropractic could do for them Dr. Norm and his team are also offering initial consultations and examinations at no charge (normally a $100 value) and ask people to make food donations as well. “This is a great way for us to acknowledge the patronage of our existing clients, create relationships with new clients and for us to give back to the community that has given us so much. We anticipate collecting an outstanding amount of food for the Salvation Army.“ says Dr. Norm Detillieux, D.C.
Dr. Norm has been a long time supporter of the Salvation Army donating a few hours of his time each week at the Hope Centre downtown Nanaimo for the past three years. He also holds a donation day each year which this year has been deemed as Christmas in July.
