Welcome back! Thanks for being part of this year's Beacon newsletters. I appreciate all of you who take the time to read these newsletters. I have been writing them now for over 8 years and have written over 300 of them, pretty incredible to think back on. It is often one of my favourite times of the week, when a new thought comes through and I am able to capture it in some meaningful way and have it be readable (thank you team) and then off to the Lifehouse community. The newsletters have appeared many different ways, the first few were only printed, if you can imagine, then the hundreds of emails and this year we will be venturing into video (stay tuned!).
The content of them has changed as well. Initially we had a lot of information and antidotes. Now we are shifting our focus to wisdom. At this point I believe that you know enough, how many more books do you need to read? But knowing it does not ensure embodying it. This is where wisdom comes into place.
"We are not provided with wisdom, we must discover it for ourselves,
after a journey through the wilderness
which no one else can take for us,
and effort which no one can spare us."
- Marcel Proust

Teaching wisdom is a fine art and is done in an inside out form. Many of you comment about wisdom and insights you have gained during your entrainment sessions. In your life what was the last piece of wisdom you have gained? Can you remember? How did you anchor it? Have you acted on that wisdom?
If you would like to uncover more wisdom please join us this week
Thursday, Jan. 23rd 7pm for a free intro talk and
Saturday, Jan. 25th for an interactive workshop "Creating Outrageous Vitality - 2014 Rocks" (10am-5pm, $50).
250-740-0333 to reserve your seats.
May 2014 be the year you Rock and may you gain the wisdom that is available to you.
Yours in service,
Dr. Norm
